Hello, I have been looking for a cheap warbird ever since my stryker blew up, and stumbled across the raidentech warbirds. They look real scale for the money. I personaly like the zero. Does anybody own one or have a video of any of the raidentech warbirds. I dont excpect arobatics or anything. Thank you

traxxboy,
before you order anything from raidentech, do a search and read the comments of others who have done business with them...also look them up in the better business bureau...just trying to save you a headache...

nitro planes has a slightly better report card, according to a lot of folks, as for me I've never had a problem with them. I have the Predator, had the 52" P38 (gave it away) and have the 90" P38. I love their stuff as it's bare bones, if I want to add to it I can, I don't have to go with someone else's idea of what it should be.
Just remember going to bigger birds, especially electric versions require a bigger wallet.

I have several models including a 33' WS RTF LaiShing Zero that I purchased from Grand Hobby, which is a sister company of Raidentech IIRC. I've yet to have any problems with this store and they also stand behind the products that they sell. YMMV.

The LS Zero will fly OK with the stock motor/gear box/ battery. I estimate a top speed of under 30 mph and flight times run at 8-10 minutes at normal speeds. Not too bad for a first time low wing fighter. Larger/heavier main wheels can help with stability and C.G. issues and I currently have the C.G. on my Zero set at the wing main spar. I also placed fiber packing tape on the inside of the fuselage/wing saddle areas for added strength.
I have a 2408 brushless motor with a 25 amp ESC that I plan on installing in the near future. This and a 3 cell 1400 mAh or so Lipo battery will, by my estimate, give a top speed of over 35 mph (w/o landing gear) and flight times in the 10-12 minute range. That is as long as I don't pull the wings off.

Not too bad at all. Be sure to search the net for "Laishing Zero" or "Lai Shing Zero" for lots of tips on this model. I modeled mine on the Mitsubishi built A6M3 model 22 version of this fighter. Good luck and good flying!

Hi Guys,
I started this thread on RCG and got some great feedback.... Check it out!

This should help with your purchases!
OH BTW, I've also ordered many times from Raidentech... no problems at all!
