Default Newbee lipo question??

HI, guys to make a long story short, I want this charger:

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHNW5&P=M

how/where can I get an adaptor for this to plug directly into a car's 12v outlet?

Also could I charge this battery with no mods:

Thanks for your help

Default RE: Newbee lipo question??

Hi,

A couple of reflections:

The Charger you want:
I wouldn't buy that one for several reasons such as:
* Limited to max. 3-cells
* No balance capability
Take another look around, try to find something that can do what this one can... http://www.fmadirect.com/products.htm?cat=45&nid=4

Adapter: You can find them at Electronic stores like Radio Shack etc.

Also, the battery and charger must have the same plugs, and that is not the case here, so
NO, you cannot charge without mods.

Would recommend you to study this link, it will pay off. http://www.batteryuniversity.com/

Good luck
