Rob sorry about the mix up with you and Pat.

You'd be amazed what you can launch off a bungee.
We did my Pedator twice. Alas, a 5' plus wingspan is not condusive to carrier launches. [X(]

You should have seen it. Looked like a shot duck about 10' off the ramp. Wings folded and she ungracefully returned to earth.

Stuff like this is what you will miss if you don't show. We might even blow up one of your planes for you. We did one of Ray's last year.

He got his thou. He Kamakazed it into the crowd before it exploded.

Good one Cal
FLY HIGH.

L & L's. Haven't used those in years.

Elaine is doing a work day thing so we leave tomorrow. I'm rounding up misc stuff and loading up the trailer with everything except what we need.[8D]
Oh, found the stupid rudder for the Corsair. Can't find the rudder servo. P-61 won't make it after all. Not close to being finished but mebee closer than the Corsair I've been messing with for a few years now.

Off the the work list.

Whoopie!!!! I've been checking on the E-Flite airliner I posted an offer on. Finally decided to call the guy as he's not been answering any of his posts on the add.

I'm an owner!!!!! Got it for $120.00 plus shipping. NIB, and even has the correct motors for it,
saved roughly $160.00.

Now to figure an excuse when it shows up, as I'll be at the field.

I'll just blame it on another of Ray's "Old Timer" moments.

i just attempted to cancel my albatros. five days after being ordered and it has not been shipped. poor customer service in my humble opinion. once i get confirmation will order the artech pitts, then the artech mig 15 when it becomes available next month. figured i'll be happy with those planes based on my other artech birds.

still working on the fly-in brad, hopefully things will work out. can offer the jug up for sacrifice......as long as it goes in style and with a big bang! rob

ps......good special on hist. int'l last night about recovering old warbirds from the jungles, tundra, ice, etc......big part of it was about "glacier girl."

I'll play along with the scheme and accept it from her when she drags it to the field. I have a spare Zero decal for it.

Brad;

Easy answer for the airliner.......

Paint it in Delta colors

Pretend it is in Atlanta

It just sits on the runway forever

Dont
Ever
Lay-over
Through
Atlanta

What took you so long. I was about to call Jean about the retracts.

I wouldn't put floats on it. Totally unscale like.

Hmmm, floats on a jet?????? Never saw that before.

Could you imagine the rooster tails those babies would be kicking up till the bird got to lift off speed.

TE, will you be taking your whirlybird to the fly-in? Not that I'll be there, just curious.

Today, there was a Blackhawk doing some training at the airstrip across the road from my new workplace. He was taking off, doing a big circle around our place, then landing again at the airstrip. Purdy cool. Then, on the way home, (I drive right by the main gate of Moody AFB) I saw two A-10s in tight formation doing a hard bank and they came directly over me. Their engines drowned out my motorcycle engine. Way cool.

woopee IT'S MY BIRTHDAY. i'm 46, second half of my life as i'm gonna live to 100, especially if i stop smoking[:@] also perfect flying weather again. bit groggy from last night's 2am beer, but i'll be loading planes before 8am. gonna take the protech razor lame sporster, flash 3d epp profile, 3d spirit wooden plane plus some others, hyperion yak55 and maybe kyosh hien. flight report to follow. also yesterday i gave up my best paying and most pesky English teaching job, teaching kids 3-9 for 1.20 a week. it did pay $50 per hour, but i had to shout all the time and it gives me stress.

GG,
A while ago I think you mentioned a great hobby store with a little old man that you visited, I think you had to make an appointment to visit.

Is this true and is it close by the field?

Lou,
Don't forget to bring the batteries for LL
