Default Typhhoon 2 Assistence

Hi there. I have a Typhoon 2 RTF that I would like to convert to work with my Spektrum DX7. I have a AR6100 Rx unit waiting and ready to install. I am hoping that someone with a similar setup might be willing to assist me with this upgrade. I'd like to get all of my aircraft flying on 2.4 GHz and DSM2! [8D]

I bought a Typhoon 2 PnP, which comes without TX/RX and am using a DX7 /AR6100 in it. I have it setup so I can use flaps as well, and the D/R is setup to give the control throws recommended in the manual. Here is my setup.

RX channel assignments:

THRO: ESC
AILE: right aileron servo
ELEV: elevator servo
RUDD: rudder servo
AUX1: left aileron servo

Transmitter setup:

System mode setup:

Model type: ACRO
D/R Switch Sel: COM RUDD
Wing Type: Flaperon on, V-tail off
Input Select:
Aux2:INH,
FLAP:SYSTEM
FLAP TRIM: ACT
Thro Recovery: INH
Trainer: INH

Function Mode Setup:

D/R & Expo:
AIL: +25% expo, D/R 52%
RUD: LIN expo, D/R 49%
ELEV: +25% expo, D/R 70%

Servo Reversing: Channels 2 and 6 are reversed, the rest are normal

Sub Trim: will be different for everyone
Travel Adjust: all 100%
Elev->Flap mix: 0%
Aile->Rudd mix: 0%

Flap Sys:
Norm: Flap 0%, Elev 0
Mid: Flap 40% DN, Elev 0
Land: Flap 70% DN, Elev 0
Auto: INH

Differential: flaperon norm 0%
Prog Mix 1-6: INH

That's about it. This way you can use the 3-position switch on the top left of the TX for flaps, and, the top-right switch for dual rates. The actual percentages you use for your D/R setup, sub-trim, and travel adjust may vary depending on how your pushrods are all setup. Let me know if you need to know anything else.
