Default GWS P51 package with EPC400 setup

I saw on the box at my LHS that there is a checkbox for both the EPC 300 and EPC 400. Is this package available with an EPC400 setup? If so, where can I get one? Sounds HOT!

Well, it's available at their web site: http://www.gws.com.tw/english/product/airfly/p51.htm
Now to find someone who has flown it, and where to get it!

Does anyone know where I can get this setup? A dealer that buys directly from GSW maybe, or a distributor that will special order?

www.rcpitstop.com - I actually bought that one but it is direct drive speed 400 (EDP 400C) and I wanted the geared 300. EPC 400C - geared 400 doesn't exist as a kit, but a retrofit would be a blast!

I don't think anyone in the US has the 400C version (Horizon doesn't import it); you will have to get it seperately - not that expensive, around $16 iirc.

Default GWS P51 package with EPC400 setup

Hi foxflyer,

I just got my GWS P-51 the other day, but haven't built it yet. I also ordered the EPS-400C-DS setup to go with it.

If you've done it already, do you have any suggestions for mounting? It looks to me like the only thing needed is to glue in the motor mount stick a bit higher to get the prop shaft centered on where the stock 300C would've been. Sound right?

How was performance? Any prop suggestions?

Thanks!!!

I decided to use this one in a 43" Jenny. I am waiting for a 4 blade vario-prop for the mustang. I just can't get used to that big orange prop on the nose.
