Default Mini-Telemaster with a few additions!!!

I finished building my Mini Telemaster and thought I would post some pictures of it. It is built from a kit but I added some features of my own to it. The First thing I added was ailerons. I wanted to build it as a 4 channel trainer. The second thing I did was to add a cowl to it. I was at the Hobby store to pick up a few things for the plane and noticed it on the rack. So I picked it up and I liked the looks of it once I put it on the fuselage that I had to add it.

I will be doing the maiden as soon as it will quit snowing here (and warm up a bit).

Below are some pictures of my new plane.

Swoose:

Very nice job. Keep it up, amazing how much you will learn from taking what is and turing it into something more. Occasionally, it will me much more. ENJOY

Thanks rmenke- Ya one of these times I may just build a kit and not make any mods to it. But hey how much fun would that be. Beautiful blue sky out today so I think a good way to start the new year out than with a maiden

I maidened my Telemaster a couple of weeks ago. it is a great flying plane. Looking forward to many good flights out of it. I am going to getting a camera for it later this year so I can do some aerial-photography with it.

Anyone else flying Telemasters on RCU?

Hi Swoose,

I'm just finishing my Mini Telemaster and should be ready to fly mid February. I made many mods, as well. The whole fuse was basically scratch built from plans with sheeting on top, bottom and semi-sheeting on the sides from TE back. I was originally going to use a glow engine which explains the extra reinforcements.

Now I'm using a hacker a20-26m with 3S (11.1v) 1320mAh.

I'll post a couple photos later this week.

Cheers,
Lawrence
