go to aeromicro.com and purchace the gws 400 sp motor and get the highest mah battery you can buy.just do some reinforcement of the wing joint.
stock set up works with 12 x 6 or 12 x 8 prop and retime the motor.i run mine this way with a 9.6 1450 mah from radio shack and it flies for about 10 to 15 minutes of controlled throttle.

The Hacker B20-L12-G brushless and its required ESC runs over $200... it will rock, and last a long time.

The GWS EPS-400C ($16) will slightly improve performance, but from what I have read needs 9-10 cells to work effectively. Will it rock? Depends on your expectation, it will be faster than the stock EPS-300.
