Default what prop do I use for my slowstick?

What is the best prop to use with the slowstick outdoors? I remember reading in a magazine that the stock prop isnt the best choice. Anybody?

Default SS Stock Prop

Mine has flown fine on the 1108 that came in the box. I have tried the 1206 and can't say I noticed that much difference. I believe that is the two most talked about props for the EPS 300C.

Buy a few of each... you will probably need some spares. I know I did.

I use the 11x8 and it's just fine, I've heard of better performance with the 12x6 but I haven't used one myself.

To save on props, one can either make up one's own cheap prop saver from a spare servo arm or get the GWS prop saver. I saw the GWS prop saver for sale at www.aircraft-world.com and have ordered it (4-pack for $1.45) for all my GWS models.

Default Prop Saver

I would agree, that especially in the beginning of learning to fly, a prop saver would pay for itself very quickly.

My prop busting has slowed down bunches and I only occasionally break one now.

Default Re: Prop Saver

My prop busting has stopped completely - very few occassions where it would break and when small mishaps do happen, the prop saver does it's job. It's a good investment, makes prop changes a breeze (say from indoor to outdoor flying, diff batt pack, etc), plus my 8yr old is needs them.
