WING DRAGON4, BEGIN AIR
I am going to buy an RTF of one of these. I have
heard there are problems with the WD4 - the V
stabilizer being weak cause the mounting plate
isnt large enough to withstand the forces when
in flight. Also, the control rod, one person mentioned,
was too short(he was trying to attach the clevis to the
rudder horn when he found this out). I would also like
to know how the takeoff is w/ the stock motor.
Any info on the B Air needed too please.

RE: WING DRAGON4, BEGIN AIR
I have a WD4 so I'll give you my experiences with it.
I've had no problems with the V stab. However, some have run a couple of short CF rods or Bamboo skewers inside to add a little strength.
I didn't have any problems with attaching the control rod to the clevis of either the rudder or elevator. As a matter of fact, there's about 1/2" sticking out the back of both clevises.
I only flew the stock motor about 5 or 6 times before I converted the WD4 to brushless and I've always hand launched and belly landed mine because I fly out of a grass field with no hard surface for a runway, so I'll have to pass on that question.
However, once in the air, the plane flew like a champ. The BA will probably fly even better with its larger motor, although my brushless motor may be its equal.

Happy flying.
