Default Servos, batteries

Hi chief alex

Assuming these are full sized servos they probably weigh about 16-20g - you COULD use them in the Slow Stick, but you are probably better getting some lighter ones, such as 5.6g GWS Pico's or 8g Hitec 555's.

There have been lots of posts on Slow Stick batteries, and 7-cell 800mAh NiMh seems to be one of the more popular choices.

Cheers, Phil

Your standard size equipment will work fine on the Slow Stick. I am using an Airtronics 4G with standard receiver and servos on mine with a six cell 900 mah nimh pack. All up weight is 20 oz. which is about 5 oz. over what most are doing with mini equipment.

Even at this weight it will r.o.g. in about 20ft and loop from level flight on a fresh charge. It cruises easily at 2/3 throttle and I get 12 min. flights.

When the wind kicks up the extra weight provides stability and you don't get blown around so much.

The Slow Stick can carry an amazing amount of weight and there is no easier plane to fly.

Have fun.

It is a real big wing I don't care for them much But I have 3 of them one with flaprons. They won't get below 3 mph in a lite wind
with flaps I am trying to do what the Big Boys do 0 to 60mph
in about 8 sec's. No nothing like them and spare wing's from
horzion's only $15 so. I give the tail feathers 3 coats of Minwax
poly and while it's tack put 1/2 of glass helps when I crash. CU
