RE: Cheap spitfire kit!!
Thanks man! I got the one that looked like the spitfire Mk2b. Its the one that you didnt know about that much. Anyways thanks! Are there any cheap li-po batteries 11.1v and between 1300 and 1800 amps? And a charger to go with it? Sorry if im asking to much but are there any b-17 s or other warbirds out there that dont suck and are still cheap?

I've been using [link=http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=7311&Product_Name=Rhino_1550mAh_3S_11.1v_20C_Lipoly_Pac k]these[/link] ones and so far no probs, they seem to be a good value for money pack.
Personaly i use the new V3 [link=http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Swallow-V3-Charger_W0QQitemZ320291913044QQihZ011QQcategoryZ16 4852QQcmdZViewItem]Swallow[/link] charger, a couple of people i know use [link=http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=5549&Product_Name=IMAX_B5_Balance_Charger_1-5_Cells]this[/link]
there are LOTS of reasonable priced warbirds, if you want to get in to a B17 though it's going to cost you $$$$$$$$$$$ as you need 4 motors, 4 speed controlers (if it's brushles) [link=http://www.nitroplanes.com/nitromodels-b-17-bomber-654x-electric-engine-radio-remote-controlled-aircraftarf-kit-.html]this[/link] is the cheapest B17 i know of and even thats going to cost youy $400+ to get in the air

RE: Cheap spitfire kit!!
Anyone had any experience with the Hobby city one(the one that is jsut like the Rippmax)? I want to get it, confused as to if it has retracts or not and if it is a fully sheeted frame. It sure looks like it is, I can see any ribs or anything. Also, a good power plant for it?? I was thinking about...
*Dual wing servos
*Cockpit modification
*New paint scheme(possible glassing if it is indeed sheeted, or finishing sheeting)
