Default F27C Stryker with Sonic Module and EZ-XPORT

So another F27 Stryker Post.

Here are the specs:
1) E-flight 2700kv SIX series inrunner
2) 80 amp Hextronix ESC - 30 degree advance
3) MKS311 digital micro servos (19.1 oz/in)
4) 2250mha 11.1 Rhino Lipo
5) DX7 with AR6100E in front of canopy under EZ-XPORT
5) Air-brushed paint
6) USA stickers from a Parkzone Mustang

Got the sonic module on with some hot glue and have been putting it up against my buddies Corsair. The Corsair almost has every advantage except a staight line retreat. The F27 has to do a hit and run for the Corsair can out turn it so easily. But it does add and extra element to the battle. I think it would be interesting to put an outrunner and larger prop on the F27 to get more thrust at lower speeds. All in all, I was not going for big radical mods on the Stryker (like many have done), just using parts I had in my lab.

If I had to build it again, the servos do the job and are very fast but I believe I should have use the mini servos instead of the micros - but that is what I had on the shelf so they went in. The micro servos are at the "top" of their torque limit in my opinion, based on how I had to use the top holes on the control horns. Anyway, mostly built this bird out of leftover spare parts from a previous F27 that I had. Used plastic rod hinges on the front of the canopy with hot glue on the canopy and in the body (will rip out if you don't), glued the battery hatch and canopy together so it would completly rise up. AR6100E and EZ-XPORT burried in the front of the canopy. No glitches and flies like a dream.

Previously I would always puff the Thunderpower 2070 25C batteries because of the current draw. The Rhinos only get slightly warm. $29 vs $79 - you make the call

Got a new arrival of the EZ-XPORTs in; give me a shout if you all want one for the T-28 or Corsair.
