Motor for Hacker mini Strega
I am looking for a good fast motor for the Hacker mini-Strega EPP foamy. I have a 15g outrunner on it now but it's too slow. I think the kv rating is 1800. I think I need something on the order of 3000-4000. I am using TP 480mah 2s packs with the little 4-4 gws prop.

Hi,
It would help to know the make and model of the motor you're using. If it can take a 3S pack then try that. Alternately you could try a larger prop, up to perhaps a 6 X 3.

The current motor is a turnigy 2211 2300kv. 3 cells would get the speed up but I don't want to carry the extra weight. That, and I don't want to buy more packs. I already have half a dozen 2s 350mah. I tried a 6x5.5APC but the plane didn't fly well with that big of prop. It wanted to torque over all the time when I hit the throttle.
