Model Aviation Enterprise D flat foamy
Hi guys: Thought you'd like to see this. My friend got these plans from Model Aviation and built the Enterprise A. Here's the video. I'll have him chime in with the details.

RE: Model Aviation Enterprise D flat foamy
I just want to thank Paul for shooting the video, he truly is a master. In reality, the "starship" really didn't fly that well on it's maiden, fortunately for me I had a really good test pilot at the helm, who made it look much better than it was. We think it's a little bit of design issue as we seem to be getting a lot of flexing in the Elevons as they are only made from 3mm Depron. I picked up a piece of 3mm flat carbon fiber and plan to use that along the side of each Elevon, which hopefully will stiffen them up and alleviate the issue of the control surfaces searching for center which was the main issue during the maiden flight, we think there was just too much flex and that was causing the handling issues. If the weather holds around here, I hope to get up again before the snow flies.
