RE: Another PZ T-28 quest
I used the tape and it's held up just fine. This was the first r/c airplane I ever flew, and have now solod and fly in two different clubs still using this same (un-crashed,,,, yet) airplane. Tough bird and it looks really good in flight. Good luck.
Only suggestions I have is I reinforced the area behind the nosewheel strut with some hardwood (popsickle stick) since in the early flights it takes a beating, Never had a collapse of the gear in spite of some really hard arrivals and over runs. I used a popsicle stick to make a tailskid since you can drag it's tail on landing and tear the rudder off. Never damaged the tail either since I had the skid, but others did their's. I also used a popsicle stick to make a tab for behind the canopy to pull off the cockpit for battery install, etc. You have this on and off hundreds of times and the tab to lift it makes it all stay nice. Make it look like an antenna so doesn't hurt the realism.
