SLO V Parts???
Ok guys, need your advice. I have a line on a CHEAP new Multiplex Merlin http://www.multiplexusa.com/model-kits/merlin.html Question is, we have a Slow V that we just dont use and were hoping to strip the 370 motor and electronics from it, add a folding prop and put them in the Merlin? Does the gearing on the V cause problems? Can you remove it?

waste of time if it's the stock components in the Slo-V.
One the motor/gearbox wouldn't fit, two the motor alone probably wouldn't give you decent performance set up as direct drive, and three the stock rx won't run for servos that the Merlin needs.
