I can't believe you didn't give it retracts [:'(]

RE: guillows b-17 5ch E-conversion

no flight report yet! still have to finish the motors and cover the wings, as far as the retracts! i had to draw the line somewhere, and thats where i drew it! my big concern was weight, pneumatic are to big and did'nt need extra weight of seros and linkage! maybe next time, keep in mind its a guillows!!!! never designed to fly r/c!! now the big royal will be full house!!! with functional gun turrets!!! no not real bullets!! moveable

I just recently started flying this multiplex cargo. I can stuff 10 bombs in the bombay.
Someone gave me a Guillows B-17, my thought was 280 motors too. I had managed to find some white Tornado 3 blade props, which ones do you have on yours?

Yeah really Basher, that is slick. What is your AUW ? What radio gear are you going with ? Can't wait to hear how it fly's.

I have one of these kits, and this is exactly what I am attempting to do. I first have tested my building skills on a cheaper $80 B29 kit. Some area needs strengthening others need lightening.

Have you flown the model.

Ok, so I registered to this website because I got stuck DOING THE SAME MODEL. Things aren't fitting as perfectly as i'd like them to, and the left wing (first one i'm doing) seems to hate me with a passion. (BTW, this is my first balsa wood model ever).
Can you help me with the leading edge of the left wing? I don't understand how it wants me to cut it and sand it...its intimidating
