I am having problems with my esc for my gws zero. The thottle does not work for me.....so when i rev my servo on the tx, it works backwards.......full throttle is down and not up on the stick.

I do the throtttle process right coause of this problem.......but when my throtttle channel is normal it will not work.

THanks sean

Look on your radio and flip the servo reverse switch on that channel, this should take care of the problem for you. Most of the time the servo reverse switch can be found under the battery hold down door providing your radio has servo reversing as a feature. Locate and read the manual that came with your radio for refference! If your radio does not have a serve reversing switch then you can manually switch the wires on the harness from the ESC where it plugs into your receiver. I highly reccomend you get someone who has experieice doing this as a last resort though! Failure to do this properly can result in a burned out Receiver, ESC, Battery, or a combination of all electronic components. One more thing you may want to check is the power lead from the ESC to the motor, make sure the wires are connected properly, Red = Positive to Red, and Black = Negative to Black, if the red is connected to black and black to red the polarity of the motor will be reversed and it will run backwards.

There's not much that can go wrong with the GWS ESC... The only cause for failure I've heard of has been operator error. (excess voltage applied, reversed polarity of the battery, trying to run excess load on too small an ESC.... each will burn the thing up.)

The function is simple:
Turn on the TX, plug in the battery to the ESC (or turn on the switch if you installed one)
Set to full throttle for appx 5 sec.
Set to 0 throttle. (may require up to 5 sec... usually just putting it to 0 is all that you need)
The system is now ready.

If you fail to move the trim lever to full (and/or to 0) as you move the stick, sometimes the ESC will not sense that you went through the initialization sequence. (which is probably why it works in "reverse" mode and not normal... I bet you left the trim lever at full.)

you need to reverse the channels on your TX. I reversed mine and I have a zero make it so on a Dream starter I reversed my channels 1,2,3 and left 4 at normal. That is your problem.
