Mini Funtana X with a 450 outrunner Help?

Help I bought a mini funtana X and didn't realize it needed a 480 outrunner I have a 450 out runner and I'm thinking of running 2 of my 11.1 1320mah in parallel. unless 1 will be enough the batts are rated at 10c continuance and 15 burst I got the motor mounted and its pulling 9 amp full on with a 11X4 prop you think this will be enough I don't want to hover or anything just pattern fly and simple aerobatics any advice will help and any tips about building it would sure help I come from a slow stick and a mini telemaster

You can run it with the 450, but I'd be more concerned with overdrawing on your lipos. You might be able to do it in parallel, but I don't think your batteries would last long. they certainly will not handle the amp draw without pairing them up.

I ran mine on the 450 for a while, but the plane is definitely built for the 480. I upgraded with the 480 and a 40 amp ESC, run 2100 lipos, and she's well outfitted.

The Park 450 will definately over draw one battery.....Two in parallel should work ok, but you will seriously be taxing the entire system.....You may smoke a 20 amp ESC, if you're not careful as the PArk 450 will draw more than 20 in extreme situations....It may fly, but not like it was intended.....I would seriously consider a 480, as pushing the limits may cost you the 450, the ESC, or possibly the batteries, or some combination of the above.....That's a lot of plane for that little motor.......I have the 450 in three planes and the 480 in two.....I luv both motors, and would hate to sacrifice one, trying to push it beyond it limits......JMHO.....Pat

Thanks for the input maybe i'll try it with the 450 and see what I log in results sounding like i'm going to need the 480 though
I just want to fly patteren no hovering or anything fancy but I don want an under powered plane ether. do you think a 11x4 prop is enough or where is a good start
I know it only draws short 7 amp peaks and my telemaster with a 9X6 most of the time its at 3-4 about 3.5 avg. 2.5 with a 11x4 on my slow stick
according to my eagle tree logger.
