Hi,

I was flying 7 cell electric gliders in Germany 10 years ago. When I came back to the States, the planes (eJunior, KS3) stayed in the box.

To get back into it and catch up with the new technology, I got myself a Wingo to scrape the skill-rust off. Done. Flies well, fun. Next.

So what is the next step? I know about Watt-age Crazy Max as a good model to go to 3-axes. Somehow I feel that I can revive my r/c skills a little faster though. I am toying with the idea of going to Projeti (I just love Conzelmann, even back in the early 1990s had superb stuff).

Also the idea of a faster delta plane appeals to me - before I go back to LMR type 7cell, 10 cell and more gliders.

Good idea? Or am I kidding myself?

Crazy Max is a good way back into 4 channel flying as it's so durable but for a slightly less durable but better flying alternative have a look at the Switchback from www.mounatinmodels.com - I have no connection to Doug Binder there - just a very satisfied customer with 3 of his planes.

THawk is a good second plane. You can buy it minus the receiver and transmitter. It comes with the servos installed and two battery packs. It's tough, can do aerobatics, and can reasonable in price. Plus they ship FAST!!!! check out www.readytofunfly.com Toytronix. :D

Fast wings... look at the Zaggi 480 or somethin in that line. Quick, aerobatic, but not real sky burners.

Ot look at the twinjet - two speed 480s on a foam wing. Pretty quick.
