Flaperons will work fine withe the Hitec 555. Just go to flaperon differential and set it to 50%. The default is 0%. I think this relates to the problems they had with flaperons in the early versions.

The Hitec 555 is a 5 channel receiver right? If so I do not think you can work flaperons with it I might be wrong but I doubt it Flaperons only work with channel 6 and 1 together not 5 and 1.

RE: hitec 555 and trackerII
I have several 555's that I use with my Polk, but I don't have flaperon on any of those models. I am also under the impression that the polk requires channel 6 to be flaps. However, I seem to recall someone on here a while back who sent their radio back to the folks to Polk who made a quick change on his TX to make flaps channel 5. Not sure what version of the software that was done with.

RE: hitec 555 and trackerII
i will be modifying my 555s to work with my polks my friend.... it turns out.... had to do the same for his airtonics transmitter and 555s as airtronics uses ch 6 also the 555 is a 8ch reciever but only uses 5 channels you can modify this by opening it up and soldering a pigtail to ch 6 (voiding the warranty of course) but there was a thread and faq on how to do this as i remeber somewhere....
