TrackerIII trade-in price?
A while back there was mention about a trade-in plan to allow TrackerII users to upgrade to TrackerIII's.
Now that the full price of the TrackerIII is on the website ($350), can you let us know what the trade-in price is?
Also, if we decide not to trade in a TrackerII, how long will the TrackerII be supported, espeically software-wise?

Good question Kirk. I'm also interested.
Have you tried the Mini Seeker receiver. At a half ounce ti should make a good combat receiver,,,,if it's durable enough.

RE: TrackerIII trade-in price?
No, I haven't tried the mini-seeker in combat yet. I do have high hopes for it, but we will have to see. I think it's caseless, which is a strike against it for combat use right off. I've found that even in a full fuse, cased RX's do a lot better than caseless ones. This is using FMA Extreme 4's and 5's, which are the same RX, the 4 has a case, the 5 doesn't. The 4 has proven to be much more durable in combat.
To push this thread along, my Tracker II really needs to be sent in for service, it's had a rough life. I just bent the antenna badly. Also, the right stick gimbal is wearing pretty badly at this point. I also sometimes have trouble getting the charge circut to work, I think the power switch isn't always doing the right thing in the "off" position. Plus the software is out of date.
So, I need to get my TX serviced after my last contest. I'd rather buy a TrackerIII, I think, but I just don't know. I need to budget and plan ahead, so I was hoping to find out how much for the trade in, and how the plan will work, and when I can expect to get the new TX.
Since I use the Polk for combat contests, I obviously need the new TX a while before my first contest so I can program in all the planes, test fly, and get used to it's feel. I'm worried that Polk might not deliver in time.
Can we please get at least a guess at the price and date updates for the TrackerIII trade in plan?
