Default RC Skydiver Plans: Updated III

This post is to determine how much interest there is in RC skydiver plans and photos. I have detailed plans and photos of the parachute and bag, jumper himself and clothing. Everything has been designed in Auto-Cad. The parachute is a para-foil design.
Depending on the response, I will make all of this available.

Thanks,
Charlie

UPDATE:I

This is a photo of the jumper. I'm currently cleaning up the drawings and photo's. They will be here soon. Keep watching.

UPDATE:II

Sorry for the delay. Holidays!
All drawings are ready, photo's are done, web page 25% complete.
Thanks for your patience.

UPDATE: III

WOW, the site is finished. Go to www.rcjumper.com
Thanks everyone for your patience.

I would like to get on the band wagon for the R/C Parachute plans.
I built one a long time ago but have since lost the plans. Mine was made from a plastic trash bag and cut with holes and slots to provide some streeing capabilities. never really work great, but did come down nice. The doll hanging below used 2 channels with the arms directly attached to the servos to pull on the back chute risers to provide control.

Thanks'
Pete

jmupilot,

Where do you fly in Virginia?
I fly with the Expoland R/C club (AMA# 1870)
in Fishersville (Close to Staunton and Waynesboro)
I have been doing R/C skydiving for about 4 years, and have been to both of the contest at the AMA site in Muncie IN
Maybe we could get together when the weather warms up.

Gary, I'm a member of the Valley R/C club in Harrisonburg. I'm the only member left that was a founding member of the club from 23 years ago. I'm sure you know where we are located. I would like to see one of your skydivers in action maybe you could come down to our club field and give a demo sometime. I'm sure all our gang would love to see it. we are there every sunday, after 12:30. Email me if you need directions.

Pete,

I know a few members of your club and flew there a couple of months ago.
I am rebuilding a Nosen trainer that a member of my club gave me
now that will be set up to drop three at a time.

When it warms up I will get in touch with you.

Getting the plans for a jumper is just a start.
You will also need a chute for the jumper, a chute pack, and a plane with a drop box.

A 2 pound jumper will need a chute size of about 24"x48"
The chute will also need to be rigged with the proper incidence,
usually between 15 to 20 degrees to get proper forward penetration.

the thread below has some information on R/C Skydiving,
and a few more threads can be found by searching for
"r/c Parachute"
