Default Kitting the LDM A-10

I've decided to kit the LDM A-10 combat series plane. I have followed the exact design and build of the original plane. If you remember there was also an F-15 and a F-18. I don't have immediate plans to build those, but if I found an unbuilt kit I would consider kitting them. My A-10 will have the same foam wings, full laser cut plywood parts, balsa parts, engine nacelle tubes, the original 2.5x2.5 PVC tube fuse, hardware and everything in the kit except the fuel tank. It will sell for $60.00 plus shipping. I've tried to contact Lucian, the original LDM Industries manufacturer to get his blessings but can't find him. If you know how to reach him please direct him to this thread.

Default RE: Kitting the LDM A-10

Hello Ed the Sign Man, this is Tom the A-10 man. Finally got around to reading your posting, sounds good. With all the ROTTEN weather today (14 Feb) I spent the day playing with the F-15, and low and behold the old man learned something about the A-10 cousin. Using the formulas in Model Avaition for calculating CG on a "delta" wing, the CG comes out at 9.5 inches from the edge of the firewall. Sounds exactly like the A-10. Funny thing about kits in a series. If you are done with the A-10 instructions I gave you, I could use them for the installation of the F-15 radio, servo's, etc. I'll get them copied. Hope it thaws out soon. Did you get any sales on the A-10?????????Talk to you soon. Tom

I thought it would be the same, given the fuse length and tail configuration. I am done with the plans, so you can have them anytime. Itried to get the plywood parts lasered today but no one showed up.
