My Nashville Project profile extra 230 (finished!) THE CATCH!
Here is what I am trying to finish before Nasville. Its an older wildcat rc extra 230 kit. I have modified it to be as long as my sledge, added 2.5 inches, and will also make the rudder much bigger, and counterbablnce the tail. This is what I got done last night. The fuse is framed except for the ply doublers, on the front. and I have started on the wing. I have a brand new Magnum 53 xls 2 stroke that will power this plane.
I have yellow and blue ultracote laying around that I will cover with. So if anybody has any good ideas how to get yellow and blue to look good togther let me know!
I'll keep you posted!
This pic for size reference.

I have the wing framed, ailerons, elevator, stab, and the fuse. All I lack now is the rudder, and lots sanding! Thanks gator for the ideas.

Project Nash.
Bryan, looks good. Back when I was young, and going to A&P school I crashed an airplane on Tuesday evening before a big fun fly. I scratch built my own design airplane, with experimental wing construction for the fun fly on Sunday. This was while going to school 8 hours every week day with 3 hours 20 minutes drive time each day. I almost didn't wake up to go to the fun fly, and I had to test fly just before the contest. I didn't win, but I felt like I did OK. This was twenty years ago, when I could survive without sleep. Tom
