Default profile plane with F4U Corsair wings???

Hey I was wondering guys, I happen to have a spare set of F4U Corsair Wings from a Nitro Models CMP 50 size sitting in my shed. Has anyone put a set of regular wings on a profile fuselage before, how bad do you think it would fly, any major concerns?

yes, at the first Nashbro I ever attended, "Wild Fred" had one and it flew pretty well. (or HE flew it pretty well anyway).

Nope, haven't tried that but can't see why it wouldn't work. About the only thing that might not look right is the center section, but you could build a wing saddle to cover that. [link=http://www.outerzone.co.uk/]Outerzone Plans Site[/link] has a good quantity of PDF plans for the F4U, if you search. You could choose something close to same size, so you have the right outlines. Place the servos near their control locations surface mounted. Mount the motor beam mount similar to CL, tank too.

In a scratch build, you can get it to work. [8D]

Hey, looky that! Is that an old picture? Is she still flying?

I remember the day I first saw that plane you taught me about the virtues of a MA 13x6 scimitar
