100" profile
I found a set of wings/tail for a 100" span Extra 260 on Craig's List for cheap and decided to build a profile fuselage for them. The fuse uses the profile of a Yak 54 and I have a nice Yak cowl to use. The engine is a DLE 55RA. I'm making the fuse with a 1 1/2" foam core and 1/16" ply framing on the outside. As soon as the glue dries on the fuse I will post a pic.

RE: 100
I'm on the fence about the cowl, Its beautiful, but it may look very strange on a profile. This hobby is about what we want to try! Keep the pictures coming
PS: I have been building a Giant Su-Do-Koi from Morris hobbies for the past 2 years. Getting into Helis really slowed me down on the building. I do love profiles though.

I'm for the cowl on a profile,,,gives it a three dimensional look to it. Good job!! In fact I was going to add a cowl to my profile Yak 54, bought a plastic one from a swap meet, just haven't had time to put it on. You stole the idea from me,,,LOL
