Good show, Tom!! Kinda resembles the OMP color scheme if I recall. Good to see another dual certifiable* pilot.

*Dual Certifiable: A guy with an OMP FF540 and a Sledge.

Well I sold my pre production sledge some time back, but I remember enough about the way it flies to see what the differences will be

Lets fly it! I saw this plane last night, and Tom did a very good job building and covering! Very sweet airplane! Now can I fly it?

I got my OMP Edge last March but I'm just getting started on the build now. I can't tell what's been changed from the pictures, it looks a lot like the old one. Can you let me know what the differences are, maybe I can incorporate some of the changes into mine before I get too far along in the build.

Thanks,
David

It's the newest member as in just being born, not as in being a brand new design. It was from there most recent production run (of just a few weeks ago, but I have no idea if they made any changes lately

Smallfly,

You make a father proud! It does look like one of my original paint schemes. Very nice! Be sure to give us a flight report.

The FF540P kits have not changed in the last year and a half so there aren't really any updates to give.

I actually semi modeled it off of somenzini's (sp) 40% yak with a few mods to make it easier to cover. Maybe being forced to look at the yellow/green design when the manual comes up unconsiously affected my brain
