mavrick,
u right, no aileron control at all. The rudder accually has lots of authority. this plane knife edges very well also. its the elevator that doesn't ahve as much authority. the plane hovers pretty well u just can't let it get far outta shape b/c not enuff surfaces to bring the tail back under. also gotta start higher and back it down.
ken,
the guy i bought it from was amazed after he saw me fly it. i enjoy the plane just b/c of that no one thinks it can do anything yet it can. its different than my everyday profile and funfly, good change
nowtorquin,
feel free to get a video, i'll see if i can't find someone with a camera who can covert to mpeg and post it somewhere

Don't go to the bottom of the page and reply. You must hit post reply at the bottom left of the last post. You will then get a link called upload images. Then a box will pop up giving you the option to browse your hard drive. Pick your image, hit ok, then hit ok again, then hit ok one more time to post the entire posting.

This is in RF G2, I have hovered but have no proof yet (pics)!
And I use RF because I have it and it is fun with with right planes.

Here's a few more. The first one is of Wes Batson and I doing some hovering together, and 2 are of Roger Armstrongs new canard with Termagator flying it.

It was windy! And the photographer had never used a digital camera before. Zoom would have been nice. And that club doesn't care for planes hanging right over the runway! I will get some better pics, but for right now I am just proud I can tork the thing!

Here's a picture of some electric foamies hovering and torque rolling. It's my yak, and three 3dx's hovering over the runway after the snow has started to melt. I had to sort through a few pictures to find one where my plane was lowest...don't want anyone to show me up!

RE: lets see the hover pics
And a little TR action although it was a little high. I hadn't flown this plane since last Semptember, so I was a little rusty with it. That and up until today it had only been flown 11 times. (new engine)
