I'd love to come but I don't have an electric 3D bird, I want one, just not sure whats best, electric stuff is all foriegn to me, I've been looking at a couple at allerc.com and the foamy factory stuff.

Dave, if I am off I will definitely be there. I looked on the map and saw that it is not that far from where I live, maybe 2.5 hour drive. Hope I can get the day off from work will know next Wednesday. Right now I am flying my own designs. I have an edge and extra that are done and working on many others. I will bring them to the meet, they are just for 3D and do fly indoors fine. Here is a picture of my edge.Jeff W.

akahoverit, You have plenty of time to get one going. Heres a link to an arf that is ready to fly in a couple of hours, and there is a list of all gear needed. Jeff, The site is the 2nd largest high school gym in the US.I believe it seats about 4000 with the bleachers pulled out and we will have them all pushed back.There is an upper level around 3 sides.

Had a good time at the Indoor meet. Got to meet some new people, put some faces to online names and catch up with some old acquaintances.
Lots of flying (and crashing) going on. An interesting variety of airplanes from rubber-powered free flyers to foamies to built-up 3Ders.
Looking forward to next year's event. (I'll know better what to bring next time) Thanks to David and the gang for hosting a fun event.
I took a few digital stills, but mostly video. Hope to get some of that posted somewhere in the near future.
