Default Indoor Pro bro, interested???

Calling all pro bros to see if there is any interest in an indoor pro bro? I for one would like to see one in the midwest here during the winter. I really have not found but one possibility here in the Louisville, KY area. Do any of you have an interest in having an indoor pro bro? Do any of you have a sight? I have some indoor tennis places here in Louisville, KY but have not talked to the right person concerning rental. Lets get this post going to see if there is any interest in proceeding with this. If these tennis places are suitable I would be happy to host the first indoor pro bro. Jeff Williams [email protected]

Hello, I've been monitoring off and on for a while, just have not spoken up. Went to the Nashville fly-in, it was great.

We have a freezer here in Cookeville TN. It's 110ft. long x 85ft. wide x 26ft. tall. completely open, no posts, lots of smooth places on the walls for landing, and even a place on the ceiling for touch and goes. It has good lighting. We use it for electrics. If you don't find something better, let us know, and we'll toss the idea to the owner (he flys electrics too). We'll get a video together this weekend to let you see the place.

Man... I would love to do an electric ProBro up in Louisville this winter... Count me in Jeff!!

I'm guessing I could drag Gator and Jess up with me... Maybe even Ricky..... As long as I can provide football coverage for Gator, he's good to go!!!

Jeff, there is the Louisville Indoor Soccer place over by our flying field...I've thought of asking them about electrics in there. I'm thinking nitro would be a no-go []

if you all are crazy enough to come to Pittsburgh I can offer the place. [link]http://www.iceoplexatsouthpointe.com[/link] check out facilty tour and you will see our indoor soccer arena and the ice arena. this what you have in mind?

I would also be interested in making the trip out Indiana way in Jan or Feb though would be a nice trip in the middle of winter to get some flying in.

It's not a probro bash but,,, There is an indoor event in Anderson IN scheduled for Jan 18. If I can find the link again I'll post it here. One of the guys heading it up is a big proponent of the blucore profile stuff. I was very impressed with his flying last winter. We had a golf dome we rented about once a month during the winter. I need to work on that again before too long. If I get that going all are welcome to join us.
I went looking for the link and noticed that it's sloanfs thats involved in the anderson deal. He's a probro so he's probably already advertised it here!

I'll come over if I can. Just keep it away from the holidays so I won't be stuck with too many days off, builders get pissy.

Jeff, count me in!!!
Heres a link to the one in anderson [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/events/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_event&event_id=567]http://www.rcuniverse.com/events/index.cfm?fuseaction=view_event&event_id=567[/link]
It's turning out to be a pro bro fly in. I've had several say they are coming, some are even getting into electric just for this event!
BTW I was impressed with Your Flying, cool high alpha Knife edge. Also your 1 elevator half missing landing was impressive.
Did you get any more of your kits cut? If so I would like to get one

Hey, you've got the plane. You just need the motor. And battery. And radio. And a place to fly it this winter!

Now Gordo, he wishes he had an electric. But I will soon.

I surely hope I can get this event organized and in the Louisville area as it is soooo centrally located (sorry Houston bros). I will get to the indoor tennis places this week so we can come up with a place, date etc. Too late to round up much in the way of prizes but I will try to get something if this all works out. Main thing is we get a place say in second half of January or anytime February and get this thing underway. I think Superbowl Sunday and I will bring my big screen to the event. Can you imagine, flying 3D indoors, eating pizza and watching the Superbowl. Not a bad Sunday if you ask me.
I plan on attending the Anderson, IN indoor event and I will have my planes there.
Basmntdweller, let us know when the Indy indoor stuff is taking place and I will be there. I live in Indiana close to Louisville, KY so it is only a two hour drive. Jeff Williams

Jeff, let me get the ball rolling in the prizes department. I know its not much but I'll donate a $40.00 Tempest kit.

Awesome Dave, I think it would be great to get some prizes. I will call the tennis places this week to see what can be arranged. Jeff.
