Paul, The plane is one of Jeff william's E- Sledges, I'm running a HIMAX 2015-4100 D - Drive 12-6 prop 3s Etec 1200s for power. The radio gear is Berg 4 receiver, Jeti 18 amp sp. control and 3 GWS pico BB. servos, and a micro z antenna.
And of course the tailwheel is from " SHARPIE".
Funny thing is it took me longer to paint it than it did to build it. And the way I fly It may not last very long[>:]

I'm with you. I think all our planes should have extended tail wheels that go past the tail. It would be cooler than touching the tail.

Be smarter than the law.

At the Houston Hoverfest this year, which all of you will be attending (www.the******************.com for addition info) will remain in full letter of the law.

".......at no point shall the aircraft touch the ground intentionally, except while landing......"

So................If you are good enough to touch the tail and fly off with out damaging the aircraft, then you should have no problem control the aircraft over to a target to touch the tail. Target's could be a stool, table, garbage can, bottle of fuel, just stuff to touch.

Tail-Targets will be available to touching at the Houston Hoverfest. No human target.

We may have an event with the targets, If yall want to. Kinda like an obstical course that you have to touch the target (off the ground) and you are timed. Low time wins. This is a spin off of something I want to bring for a I3D event. Don't have a cool name for it yet.

Gordo, By all means copy away. Maybe on the glow planes we should take a digital photo of a tailwheel and print it on decal sheet!

How 'bout a balloon pop? Just attach balloons to different things - garbage cans, tables, the ground, whatever, and you tape or otherwise attatch a t-pin to the end of your rudder. Most balloons popped in 30 sec wins!

That's awsome! I love it, a whole new meaning to "ballon pop"

The balloon pop is a real neat idea! An extended piece of music wire would do the trick.

How about the vertical drag race?
Set up in hover for a short time, and on go see who can out accelerate their opponent.

The "drop the tail in the trashcan" event?

Man a "Balloon Pop" or some other kind of "touch the object" event sounds so cool!

That would be great!
