I tried the half a horns and they would push up, but the pushrod would bind when it tried to pull down past center because of the angle. I will look for the bipe aileron horns

I bought some of the sig aileron interconnect horns and they worked great. She is officially all ready to go, Now if the ice and the predicted snow would just go away by this weekend...

Hi guys,
I picked up my framed Pitts from the builder last night. Man, did he do a great job!!!
He made a few mods. I'll try to post pictures of the bones soon.
Now if it will just warm up enough to get out in my shop to finish it!

RE: Profile Pitts
Well I got my first 2 flights in yesterday as the snow was melting away. The magnum xls 52 was stumbling a bit in the transition but was crazy powerful on this lil bipe. The pitts took off very quickly and only required very minor trim adjustment. Every control surface has tons of authority, maybe too much. Even on low rates (well high low) the roll rate is insane. Hovering is touchy to me but can be done easily if your quick on the sticks. There was a good bit of roll coupling with rudder application that made KE manuvers tough. Landings were easy with a bit more throttle being held in until over the runway as with any bipe. I think I'll set the throws down a bit before flying again. I got caught up in the e-foamy craze over the weekend and now I guess Im going to have to have one of those too. I am considering selling the bipe airframe and engine to finance the foamy If anyone is interested. I ordered an ohio yak the other day and Im gonna have too many planes again
