I think the 108 would work pretty well bryant. The yak comes out a good bit tail heavy with the 91 2 stroke anyway. Wayne and Jeff made mine look awesome at the crossroads fly in today with the new saito 120 on the nose. You could probably swing a 16-4 with that 108. The 15-4 was about the limit for the 91 IMO

Thanks Tom, I am going with the 1.08. If everything goes well I should have it ready for the internet fly in.

Here's another nugget to chew on...Could a clear canopy be built on a profile? I'm thinking on cutting out the foam in the shape of the scale canopy, then placing very thin Lexan on either side, to form a transparent canopy? All this time waiting for my kit to arrive is driving me nuts!!!!!!

Sure it could be done, but it might be easier to use clear monocote than lexan. I think it would look cool.

Here are some a few picture my wife took yesturday afternoon. Its was the best weather day I have flown the yak in. Absolutely no wind.

The more I fly this thing, the more I love it. Its becoming my favorite profile.

It would depend a lot on the wood selection you get and what kind of servos and hardware you use but 7.5 pounds should be obtainable, a smidge less if you replace wood, use extra light battery packs, etc.
