Default Morris topcap cg

Well, I am ready to balance my Topcap. A member here sent me a manual that says 5.25 from leading edge, but that was written in by hand. Morris's web site says 4.5. Where are you guys balancing yours?
Thanks, blue ice.

Thanks guys.

Ok I think I might be able to help here. Check were the heaviest parts of the plane are like the engine. If it's below the wing then balance it right way up. And if it's below then take it upside down. And well of course if the engine is in line with the wing then you could perhaps have a look at the landing gear and the vertical fin. My bet would be that the landing gear is heavier. So you would then balance it right way up.

The pink stuff's pretty tired now. Hope I'm going in the right direction.

[:@][:-]Will do, got the SAT college test this Saturday, pretty much takes up a whole day[:'(][&:]. I can't wait, the carbon fiber landing gear and the scheme and the purty brand new Saito 72 just look way to nice. Especially the li poly pack and regulator.

I think I am going to switch to a Thunderpower 12C 920mah 2S pack though. I am not real into Apogee's method of balancing cells. They are listed 830, but charge up to 870[]. Now thats not bad, but it makes you wonder what the quality control is. So I think I am going to use the Apogee for the mean time untill I can get my hands on the Thunderpower

You can finish that SAT a LOT quicker if you leave every other one blank. Then you will have spare time to fly the TopCap!

And yeah! What's up with jumping the TP boat?? I thought you were a die hard TP guy!
