I've taken images like that one you posted and print them out on regular paper... Then I just use a little spray glue to attach it and cover it with clear packing tape or clear monokote to fuel prof it... Worked great!

Hello ProSis,

This goes out to you and to all the ProBros as well. One of our USA modeling magazines, Model Aviation, just ran a very good article on this very subject. According to this article, you can buy decal paper from one of two different companies that will allow you to take a digital picture, print it on this decal paper and then transfer it to your model. Here are the websites:

www.beldecal.com and www.papilio.com

Check out the websites and see what you think.

The decal paper comes in many different types including one for inkjet printers and one for laser printers. Not sure which one you have.

The writer of the article also recommends purchasing a Ultra Violet Clear coating that comes in a spray can. This is available from the Papilio site as well. If one of the bros has a scanner, maybe they could scan the article and send it to Ann. It's in the May 2004 issue in the Giant Scale section.

Ann, I just wanted to tell you that I thought the job you did building and covering the Burrito was fantastic. Salmonbug should be very proud of your efforts. Great Job! [8D][8D][8D]

I am finishing the ailerons.

[] I forgot the digital camera to my sister, I'll see it monday, so no pics of my progress.

I have a question regarding the gear.
On the pics in the assembly manual, the gear is suported on top by a white plastic part, can't find it, but I have 4 strange looking funy wood parts looking like a plastic part.

how do I have to proceed ?

Yes Ann, the wood is fitted around and over the top of the gear. Hard to describe without pics, but you are basically assembling a piece that fits over the bend at the top, and clamps it to the fuse, out of three smaller pieces. I'll see if I can find some pics unless someone beats me to it......

Ok I managed to take a pic of my wing using a other cam I have here, wich is partialy broken

I decided to install the servo rails before the sheeting (that's deviating from instruction), but like that they are in one piece and I guess this make the wing stronger. I cutted notches in the ribs exactly like on the burrito.

altough the plane is smaller i find it more difficult to build

now I understand why salmon always close the door of the workshop.
One of our cat went in and pissed in the box of the airplane. all the parts I already assembled (fuselage and tail) are smelling horibly !!![][][][:-][:-][:-]
I stop to work till it's dry and then I am going to put a ton of parfume on it

Paul I told you to put a bottle of parfume in the invoice !!!!!

Ann,
Oh my. That sucks.

I have 2 cats. They never bother my planes. I can leave the airframe partially assembled and have never had a problem. The boxes are always on top of the benches though I've never left them on the floor.

Yeah, and remember....it's just a cat ! I don't shoot cats for target practice, but for ruining a plane ? hehehehehe..... Heck, I would even shoot Chuck if he whizzed on my plane !

I had my dog at the field one day and he whizzed on a guy named Mike's plane. Somebody tells me my dog just whizzed on Mike's plane and I say, "Yeah, stupid dog!! I had to show him about 50 times before he got it right!".

Catch ya in Mempho, Alf!
