Hey Bros! Did you miss the Hoverfest in Houston because it was too far away? Are you going to miss the Memphis or Nashville event because it's just too far to drive? Then do I have a deal for you! 
After being approached by members of the Memphis Mafia in Houston, I have gone before my club and have the approval for a PRO BRO EVENT IN TEXARKANA, TX!!!!!!! I explained to them the Pro Bro rules (that there are none) and they have agreed to host the event! (I think it was the snazy black Pro Bro shirt that I wore to the meeting that did it for them![8D]) Now I need YOUR help!
The dates that have been picked are September 11 & 12. I need a REALLY GOOD TURN OUT for this event. There has not been much 3D action in this area, so this could really drum up some new members for the Brotherhood! Also, it is about halfway between Houston and Memphis, so this could be a good meeting point for all the Bros to get together in one spot! We have a great field, and this has the chance of being a bigtime yearly get togther for all the Bros that can't drive 12 to 15 hours to one of the other events. So how about it guys? There were 39 pilots in Houston. Surely we can get at least that many to meet halfway!
Be sure to mark it down on your calendar for September 11 & 12. Let me know if you can make it, and could also use some donations for door prizes. Come to Texarkana and let's show em how the Bros do it!

Maybe in central or south Fl, but in my club, only one other guy has a profile, and I haven't seen him in 3 months. The club prez told me yesterday that "them planes sure are maneuverable, but they're just ugly!" Beauty is in the eye of the pro bro... There are some guys who fly profiles at a neighboring club 45 miles away, but I never get the chance to go over there.

Hey joebob! There is a guy that has come to our big bird event from Florida every year for the past four years! It's all in the perspective! If we can put on a rockin good time for the Bros, then it would all be worth a little driving time! Once you've been to a Pro Bro event, you won't be able to wait for the next one! Hey joebob! Try out Memphis, and you'll like it so much that you won't be able to stand to miss Texarkana! Maybe we can even get the great Chuck Auger to meet you here!
I know that September is a long way off to start planning, but keep an open mind and give it a shot! We're up to seven Bros that say they are coming, and I'm sure that there will be more! Need the help here, Bros! If we get enough to say that they're coming in advance we may be able to work up a brisket meal for that Saturday evening! How's that sound? Fly all day, eat a good (and I mean a good, Texas style) brisket meal, then fly some more? Now who could resist that? [8D]
