I did nearly the same thing. Dropped a wrench on it....destroyed only one rib though. I feel some of your pain. And these wings are so delicate that if you drop a feather on it, your looking at needing CA to fix it.

It would be nice if they at least provided a rib kit if not a wing kit. If not, what I do, is always save the rib cut-out left overs. Its a pain in the !$#!# but you can trace that on 1/16 and or 1/8 balsa and hand cut.

Bryan already asked the same question in the OMP forum and we'll take care of him. We've always supplied repair parts to our customers, all you have to do is ask. Another advantage of having our ARFs built the same way as our kits is we can supply replacement parts!

Bryan, the kit wings are built the same as the ARF so we can help you out. As I mentioned on RCU the ARFs are all sold out so I can't just send another ARF wing panel. You will have to build the wing as you would a kit. The price for one wing panel is $55 and that includes all the wood and wing tube socket shipped to your door. You can call in the evenings to order via a credit card or send a check in the mail and we can ship out the kit asap.

I did damage my edge too and I did put a post in this forum but somehow the msg did not get through except for one who described how to draw the ribs, but im no good at drawing and stuff like that.

I had ordered my Edge as a short kit but i did not trace the ribs before I glued them stupid me. After I had busted my wing I asked for rib templates to fix my plane cause I find it a bit stupid sending for another short kit just to repare 3 ribs. So can someone send me these templates please, all I need is a trace of the ribs on a peace of paper !!

You keep the part that the ribs were in. The outer portion that held the ribs is your template.

I was not supplied with the outer part, the ribs were supplied individually ready to be glued.
