OK, I need to get a good count of how many people intend to attend. We're going to have brisket for the Saturday evening meal, so I need to know how many are coming. We need to have a good turn out, guys! This is a good oppurtunity, since it is halfway between Houston and Memphis. Let me know if you plan to make it!

You can camp right at the site! We do have electricity and water, but only have a port-a-pottie. I'm sure that there are camp sites nearby since our field is at Lake Wright Patman. I'll check into that and let you know for sure. Like I said before, you can camp at the field, but no showers. [&:][:-][&o]

There is a fairly new Budget Inn that's about 5 minutes from the field, 903-838-0300. They said that a room with one bed is $40.00 per night and a room with 2 beds is $45.00 per night. There are other hotels, but they are about 15 minutes away. The Budget Inn would be the closests and most convenient to the field.

BROs..... This is a great field to 3D at. It is kinda isolated, real quiet, and lots of room to fly anything you bring. I have been there many times.

The BRISKET meal is worth the drive!!! GOOD EATS!!!

We really need to support this effort by RAZORBACK58. It's a great place to get together. Half way between Houston and Memphis!!!! All the mid south Bros can make it to this one. The Big Bird there each year has around 40 pilots with ease. Just think of the MASS HOOVER we could pull off if Houston, Dallas, Tulsa, Little Rock, Springfield, Memphis, Fort Smith, Rogers, Shrevport, and Hot Springs and Nashville all showed up at one place to show off. SWEEEEET!

I am so glad y'all also included the [8D]GPS location[8D], as even us old farts that dont ask directions can still find our way.

BTW for any of y'all that have a laptop or a PDA you can get a program with a GPS receiver (approx $125) that will take voice input commands and give vioce direction (no need to have the screen active and get stopped by a [:'(]cop[:'(]) at 2mi and about a 1/4 mi from a turn. Shoot even getting a decent laptop (inexpensive used) and the program will be better (less expensive) than a lot of the handheld GPS's. It will also be a computer as well.
