ive got a spare 40la hanging round the house, which funfly would you recomend?
I was thinking a sportmans avation hotknife profile, i would prefer something i can hover...

it mite hover a taco but it'll be to heavy to fly very good. it won't hover a normal profile on 90% nitro.i put mine in a pt 20 its a useless engine for 3d

weston UK cougar should be OK for hovering on that engine, its a cheep plane, bouncible and flies great www.westonuk.co.uk

Try a pizza box flyer it hovers mine on half throttle really fun plane to fly and industructible!!!!!!!!

This one is an arf for a good price www.coolplane.com don't try election signs they dont work good.

Use your .40 LA with a header and mousse can pipe on this http://www.precisionaerobatics.com/p...spx?prodID=111 with a AAA NMH battery pack and you should be able to get it to 3.5 lb. The .40 LA with a MCP will spin an 11x4 prop and hover a 3.5 lb plane.
