Hello, this is Alex from Accel Hobby.

mstcitabria: Please send the plane back for full refund. I understand you have peeled off some of the covering, but that's fine. However, NO MORE REFUND WILL BE GIVEN UNTIL THE RETURN HAS BEEN MADE.

We want your total satisfaction. If you are not totally satisfied, we will accept return of the airplane and give you full refund.

Alex

I can give you the performance from a Canadian perspective if you send the freebies to me!!! Hell I might even put the 70 into a tree to see if it's as good as my Kat 40!

Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesh

I was just trying to be nice to the accel. folks- But I have now been harassed for my participation---

You company reps. need to remember that some folks, (like me) try to offer kind words or advice but we ARE NOT UP TO DATE WITH THE WARS BETWEEN DIFFERENT COMPANIES! [:@] I do not keep track of these soap opera style dramas---

Now I have been accused of insinuating that a particular company is responsible for that guys trash talking posts----When I do not pay attention to who gets along or doesn't...

Geesh

Well, he's not getting any of the planes. Already said no. As for the rest of you, it's kinda like a family with the trusted testers. No one really gets in until one drops out. Now, TailTwister is getting up in age, and sometimes crosses streets in bad places and can't hear real well, if you know what I mean [>:]

Come on "Q" you guys must need a Canadian rep! How am I supposed to market your product in the north with nothing to show? More seriously, so far I've had good luck with my Kat 40. I'm sure Woody will be pleased with his next one. Too bad the other fellow didn't want to be helped.

Mstcitabria, you make your points very well. I think enough has been said. I hope you're happy with the plane now that you've done what you wanted with it. Good luck

Razor-RCU, I'm sorry you are being harassed. Let me state for those reading that nobody I'm associated with personally, or in business, is part of that harassment.

MSTCITABRIA, all I can say is that I'm sorry this got this far.

Tail-twister,
Ditto on that and for Razor' information, I am not affiliated or involved either with the forum moderators or any modeling company. My concerns, like you tail-twister are directed to all modelers who enjoy the hobby as I do. Accel has strong customer support and does go the extra mile to satisfy their customers needs. My particular problems were mostly my own fault for not addressing the issues's at the right time and the right people.

Guys,
I saw the plane that Mike has and I definitely think it must have slipped though the quality control. There were multiple issues with this particular example and some of the issues were major safety concerns. This being said I have watched the videos and can't wait to see this thing fly now it has been redone. Mike is very particular about his planes and takes time to check everything with the plane every time he flys. He makes sure the plane is airworthy before he goes into the air. When he goes over the model he is confident that it is ready to go and not fail due to any structural failures. As I said earlier his planes are very well maintained and built. I hope this Kat flys like advertised because it looks awesome...

Jeff,
Thanks for the kind words, I do appreciate that. From what I have seen I'm sure your planes are also well built and maintained and you also must take a little pride in what you bring to the field to fly. Thanks again and can't wait for that grass to green up!
Mike

Ohhhh, so that's what grass is. Ours isn't quite 2 feet, but we still get snow every few days. I'm big into hand launch 3D this time of year...

I used to fly off skis when I was in ND at Minot AFB years ago but up here the snow is too deep for skis and if you bring one down slightly away from the field you better have your snow shoes on.... I am toying with the idea of getting into electric 3-D for the long winters, Indoor and out, so I could fly right in my yard or in a local gym.
