Default old K&B 61...which profile?

The old K&B runs pretty good...just throws fuel everywhere. So I thought why not just run it till it quits. I would like to put it on a profile to begin learning 3d.

Default RE: old K&B 61...which profile?

I've had a couple of those old K&B 61s, still have one matter of fact. They are a stroker engine with good torque but not high rpm or response if I recall. Some of the high end .46 - .53 two strokes these days rival it's power. So bottomline I would recommend going with one of the popular 40 size profiles given that engine. There have been many 40 size profiles powered with 61s and weight is generally not a problem given the light wing loading to begin with. Tons of options in both kit and arf format. Search the threads here for info on beginner to advanced models kit or arf....tons of info!
