RE: Another BRO, Another BURRITO-
trailing edge pinned down- am I correct in thinking that I should glue this side now and shape the trailing edge, apply trailing edge sheeting and then flip and do subspars and trailing edge sheeting on the top of the wing????

RE: Another BRO, Another BURRITO-
The servo rails are already installed... There is a 1/8" x 1/4" hatch support that butts up against the spar... No other hardwood.... As far as the sheeting and hatches go..... Just take a piece of the 1/4" x 4 and cut it to fit the width of the center section, about 9 3/8" long, then cut it to 3 3/8" wide. Glue that over the center two bays and butt it up against the trailing edge sheeting. Now sheet the center two bays from the spar to the leading edge sheeting. Next take a piece of 1/16" x 1" and cut it to fit between the upper and lower sheeting on the center rib. Glue it down. Take some 1/16" x 3/8" and cut to fit and glue it to the out board ribs of the center section like cap strips.
You know have a hatch opening!
Glue two pieces of 1/8" x 1/4" basswood to the spar, below the sheeting for a hatch support and something hard to screw your hatch hold down screws too. Now glue some 1/16" x 1/4" on the inside of the hatch opening in the center section and rib caps for hatch support. Allowing it to overhang by half the width for the hatch to sit down on....
Cut a hatch to fit the opening, reinforce with some 1/16" x 1/4" and you're done!!

RE: Another BRO, Another BURRITO-
Now all that's left is the horizontal stab/elevator- Getting ready to go back down and do it right now- then I will sand everything and make sure that it's ready for the covering- I'm thinking about a Red Bull scheme or a John Deere theme with green (trans) and yellow- I almost have to have some transparent covering on here so that I can see all of this work!!!!!! it's hard to cover it ..... I'll keep the photos coming- next will be the questions about covering...........

OK, I clearly have a sickness. I find myself zooming in on these pics, slobbering over the details. I really got a flutter when I saw the Fuse. Man I love that fuse.
Paul, I'll need a Taco and annother Burrito in Houston. I just have to build a FF anything!!!! My Taco is getting so bad, it really needs replaced. I'm almost up to 3 pounds.

Beautiful nudes Alex. Gonna finish my frame up Sunday and start covering Tuesday. I was thinking of a Green Lantern meets Pikachu scheme (remember, my kids have a say in this since they have worked so hard) I'll make it cool.
Have you got a covering scheme yet?
Excellent work man, Cant wait to get the two Burritos together at the NC Pro-Bro fly in.
