Jim: Heh those days can be fun if you have something flying you don't care much for. I used to have fun doing touch and goes on a spot without changing the aircraft's heading at all during the flight with my comp fun fly. That thing was silly light so it was fairly easy and just good clean fun. But yes strong winds usually=strong gusts too so it can get hairy.

Matt: Thanks for the compliments buddy! I can't imagine that you fly any worse than me? I've only been flying 3D for little over a year now? I first learned about 3D when I joined RCU which is what about a year and 8 months back? Then about 4 months later I got my Yak from OMP and it still took me 3 months to build it (Yes I sucked I know). I have been flying rc planes for about 6 years now though. Got my solo sert when I was 14 and flew till I was about 16 then took a break till about 3 years back. I'm learning much faster now so it's much more enjoyable. I wish I could burn more fuel on day like you guys but my brain just gets simply too tired from all this 3D stuff so I can't keep it up. And yes with only a 6oz tank on these things and a 10 minute flight from each you don't really run through the fuel supply fast ey?
