I'm trading for this plane, but do not know if it is the Dog house, or Dog House Extreme. The only thing i have to go on are a few measurements.
Wingspan: 54"
Aileron root: 3 3/4"
Aileron tip: 3"
Ruder height: 9"
Ruder width: 4"
Elevator half span: 9 1/4"
Elevator cord: 2 1/2"
Is this the Extreme, a modified Dog House? I'm just curious.

I think the wingspan on the two planes is the same. You should check their website:

Maybe they have more information.

Yes I think the only change was ail and elev control surfaces. I was wondering if accoring to the control surface size, was it an extreme, regular, or modified!! That way I have a clue as to control throw.

By the way if anyone knows the control throws, and CG for either or both, please let me know!!

It sounds to me like someone modified a Doghouse. The ailerons appear to have a taper from the dimensions that you gave. The stock eXtreme is a no taper 3" aileron. The elevator on the eXtreme is 3-3/4" wide. That is the only difference in the two airplanes. In otherwwords, the eXtreme is a Doghouse with larger ailerons and elevators.

About 3/4" behind the spar is a good starting point. Move back from there as much as your thumbs will allow!!
