Default You noticed that ehh??

"Hangar rush" doesn't even begin to describe what happen.
Was packing things up for the field, windy day, I set the plane nose down outside the house up against the wall with my flight box just in front of it. I dart to shut the basement door, only not quick enough....
I was pissed
But flew it like that anyway
I'll be working on it today since temps are in just above the teens and wind is up to and around 20 mph.
You wanna guess what's the wind chill??

Gator,
I think Zivco is the company that designed the full scale edge.

Actually that's the omp ff540. And I flew it of our snow covered field 2 weekends ago with no skis. Just hand launched it and used the puffy snow to absorb the 'elevator' landings
That was fun fun fun...hehe. Kinda lonely though since no one else was there

Saw the real edge fly yesterday at the Avalon airshow (Australia).
It was the one flown by Pip Borman, with the real cool yellow and purple flame paint scheme.

Man that is a nice plane, I want one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To keep the crowd entertained, the organisers put the edge in a drag race with a Ford v8 supercar, (650 + hp).
The Falcon won, but the crowd soon forgot about that when the edge pulled to the vetical straight off the takeoff roll!!!
Other than the awesome aerobatics, the 2 ft high speed passes were soo stable.

Default Zivco Aeronautics...

Gator,

I thought you might find this interesting....

"Zivko Aeronautics is a woman owned and operated company that has been involved in aircraft and aviation since it's founding in 1987."

Check out the website...

http://www.zivko.com/

as for the profiles, this is still my favorite...
