J600R shut-down on "set idle"
Hi guys!
We are having a problem with our J600R. It starts just nice and smooth, goes up to 60k rpm and than on "set idle" it goes doen to56k, 55k and at 54k it just shuts down. I don't have any idea how this can happen and how to get around it. We are just starting our flying season and I don't want to send it to Thailand, due to shipping times.
Any idea what we are doing wrong?
Best regards,

Please go thru your TEMS setting and see whether they are set according to defaults/factory settings. Is your radio throttle calibrated properly? Please check your fuel plumbing as well.

RE: J600R shut-down on "set idle"
Hi Kraivuth!
Thank you for the fast reply. I think we have found the problem. After going through all the installation, we finally found, that the shut-off solenoid had a bad wireing. We will fix it and try again. The funny thing that only a few of the wires were attached to the solenoid. That probably caused that it opened, but not "strong" enough.
I am happy, because that PST J600R is probably the only turbine we have owned, that never flamed-out in the air. That is one solid piece of metal.
Best regards,
David
