Default Lubrication for PST600r

Hi All,

I recently purchased a used PST 600r here in the uk. The seller told me that it is safe to use a 2 stroke synthetic lubricant instead of proper turbine oil. Can anyone tell me whether this is correct or not?

Thanks in advance

Default RE: Lubrication for PST600r

Hi, We don't recommend 2-stroke synthetic oil since this will leave unwanted residue inside the combustion chamber and vaporizers. Please use light turbine oil for lubrication. 5% mix is recommended.
