Default Fuel tank

Does anyone know if it would be possible to run a bladder tank into a small hopper tank and then to the engine without getting air in it? The idea being to get the head of fuel higher than the needle valve for a more consistant run. Thanks

Default RE: Fuel tank

Yeah, did that around 15 years ago in a Formula One to get the main tank on the CG. It worked fine on 15% fuel, but the line size gets a bit restrictive when you are flowing 3 oz/minute on crankcase pressure. But today, just put a tettra tank on the CG and don't worry with the header tank.
