3.75 pounds. Exactly at weight limit. I am sure if I do another, I could save a few onces. I used too much epoxi on this one.

WOW!! Julio I love this plane!! For some reason, my eyes see these colors really well and I really love your scheme. Is that a bolt on tail on a Seeker? How did you do this?

As you might imagine we don't have that many races in Guatemala. Two or three a year. So I build all my airplanes to travel. We have 6 flyers that do Q40, 10 that race 428 and about 25 that race 424. This seeker was built trying to get a small advantage in 424, so it has Dave's style hinges in the ailerons and elevator, painted instead of covering, inside switch, flush screws all around, etc........... all read here (Dave's speed secrets. Thanks a lot dave) We use 0.46's with any prop.

I bought the kit from Dan Kane during last year nat's. The removable tail was built per instructions and then two plywood pieces were added to the rear of the fuse to bolt 10-24 nylon screws. Then we made a base out of balsa and glued that to the tail so it sit square in the fuse. It feel very solid and does not add much weight.

Well, it's no MacDaddy paint job but I've got one color down and a couple to go.. After picking off all the tape for the checker board pattern, I don't think I'll do that again any time soon.. I had to throw some color on my "new to me" Neme Q+ too..

Looking good Lee. I definately don't blame you for adding some color to the NemeQ+, although I think I would've changed the green while I was at it...

That would have been too much work.. It was bad enough having to wet sand off Dave's numbers so I can put my own on there.. Besides, I'm from WI and green and gold are alomst required colors Any guess on the next color going on the Polecat?? I've also broke down and bought some of the pearl pigment that Scott was talking about.. It's only $10 and you can use as much or as little as you want.. Hopefully that will dress it up a bit.. I should have a few more pics after this weekend.. Just got the last of the radio gear I needed for it today so maybe I'll get it flown before Friday afternoon at the Nat's

That plane looked FINE the way it was.

Flew good too, just too many planes, and not enough races

Ok, it's almost done.. I still have to clear it and I think I'll do the canopy in black but other than that it's about ready.

IF THE COLORS WERE SEPERATED WITH A THIN BLACK STRIPE IT WOULD LOOK GREAT

I don't think there's anything worse than that "hauler brown" you were using all.. However, you might be onto something with the black striping.. I'll think on that a little and see if it's worth the work.. Thanks.

Here's my simplified scheme. This one really fought me with the clear...

Very Nice A.J.

I think I like the simpler design better

So you spent all weekend painting that thing when you could have been racing with us!

Looks great.

NICE A.J.! Unless you said something, I would never have guessed that this scheme was any less work than the other. They both look awesome!
